ViniLourenco Fraga de Galhofa White DOC 2019

A white blend made with the traditional Douros varieties, of popular style.

A rather atypical year, with a fresh summer, a rainy month of August which delayed the maturation of the grapes, that were only ready to be harvested two weeks later than usual. The harvest was slightly above average with outstanding grapes.

Food Pairing: Given its characteristics it is appropriate as an aperitif or for daily meals, particularly shellfish, fish, light meats, pastas, pizzas and Asian food.

Grape: Rabigato (40%) Viosinho (20%) Gouveio (10%) Malvasia Fina (10%) and Fernao Pires (20%)

Alcohol: 13%

Colour: White

Aroma: An aroma where youth stands out, intense and with citric and floral notes typical of the white wines grown in altitude ad Douro Superior.

Taste: Once in the mouth, it reveals its freshness, creaminess, balance and good persistence.
